Stonefly Nymph...

Post by Wilki » Sat Aug 08, 2015 10:32 pm

Been part of a group on FB and it was started a fly of the week... Stoneflies. I don't tie many of them but wanted to have a play with some dubbing I got recently, it has really fine rubber bits blended with it, really cool stuff.

The pic is a little dark, taken on the iPad, I curled the antennae after taking the pic... it looks better :D
What are your favourite stonefly ties?..

I had a go at a couple of stoneflies.....after presented them to fish until I had an arm like "Popeye the Sailorman", I realised why I like buying flies from Steve....they work!

What you getting? He's getting fast, I ordered a few of the new KRAPS and they were within 10 days which I thought was fairly impressive!
